The Time Crucible

Book 5 in the series is now available in paperback and ebook format.

Detective Jack Kohl has a simple plan for a most complex problem: Use the witch, Morgana’s, time travel device to return to New Orleans in 1863 and kill the woman. While simple on the surface, the plan quickly goes south the moment Jack steps through the time rift.
Jack’s first problem is that Morgana does not wish to be killed and will do everything in her power to prevent it. Second, Jack has landed right in the middle of a Jack the Ripper-style murder case. The Slasher is carving up women indiscriminately throughout the city. No one is safe, not even the people assisting him.
Jack has a major problem with The Slasher. Knowing all about New Orleans’ history, there were no serial murders during this time period, making the Slasher a time anomaly. But who is responsible for it? Jack, Morgana, or some unknown killer playing their own treacherous game?
